DJ Sbu and Ruffest on stage

DJ Sbu performed in Khayelitsha yesterday. Groundup spoke to DJ Sbu after his performance. We asked for his message for the youth of Khayelitsha.
He encourages young people to stay at school, “I grew up in the township, went to the same school as an ordinary kid in South Africa goes to but I told myself I want to become something and here I am today.”
During his stay in Cape Town he is visiting schools in the Khayelitsha area, where he is doing motivational talks to learners.
