From Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon, Cape Town computer programmers and web designers took part in the Coding for Democracy Hackathon.

The programmers gathered at the Ndifuna Ukwazi offices in the city centre and spent three days writing code and exploring ideas for web and phone applications that could be useful for achieving social justice.
